Young's Fishing Service provides fishing thrills that you won't forget.. Fly fishing on the lower 20 miles of the Deschutes River will take you through Class III and Class IV rapids on your trip through this unique and scenic canyon. This area of the Columbia River is a popular fishery where you can catch the sporting walleye; while sturgeon from 7 to 9 feet are regularly caught and make hard runs and aerial leaps. Rainbow trout, known to the locals as redsides, are a year round second-to-none treat for fly fishers. Summer runs of steelhead start in July. It's not uncommon to pull 40 pounders of Chinook Salmon in the fall migration runs. After a long day of fun you can stay at their permanent overnight camp with quality equipment and fine meals.
