Hardin KOALocated between Mt. Rushmore and Yellowstone National Park, in the midst of “Big Sky Country” in Montana is the Hardin KOA. While on vacation in this neck of the woods, be sure to explore the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument and Museum, home of Custer’s last stand. Also visit the area’s other attractions, including Yellowtail Dam and Pompey’s Pillar National Monument, go trout fishing on the Bighorn River, or take in a round of golf. In June, there is a reenactment of Custer’s last stand, which is always a big hit with visitors.
