Rock Port KOA

Nestled along the historic Lewis and Clark Trail, near the banks of the Missouri River, sits the Rock Port KOA, in the first 100% wind-powered community in the U.S. The campground is located near the Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska borders. The area boasts many antique shops, as well as golf, fishing, and bird watching. Take a stroll through the Meriwether Lewis Riverboat Museum or head to the town of St. Joseph, the historic home of the Pony Express. Spend a quiet afternoon on a riverboat cruise or fishing on the Missouri river. For a bit of excitement, try your luck at the casinos located within an hour of the campground. The shady campground offers RV and tent sites, as well as cabins. Amenities include a swimming pool, game room, volleyball, badminton and tetherball courts, and wireless internet. There are RV spaces available even during the winter months for Cooper Nuclear Station workers and contractors.
