Runge Conservation Nature CenterThe Runge Conservation Nature Center in Missouri offers a sampling of many of Missouri’s wildlife and landscaping habitats. The nature center and naturescape trail offer demonstrations of the many types of habitats typically found throughout the state of Missouri. Habitats to be explored include wetlands, agricultural lands, rivers and streams, ponds and lakes, prairies, glades, forests and caves. The center offers hiking trails, outdoor demonstrations of the various habitats, naturalist guided programs for groups, and a large facility that includes an auditorium, indoor wildlife viewing area, library and many exhibits. There are also numerous special events occurring at the conservation center year round. |
