Murray Hill Scenic Overlook

One of the most picturesque areas of the Loess Hills is located along the Murray Hill Scenic Overlook. This area on the Loess Hills National Scenic Byway provides a spectacular panoramic view of the Missouri River Valley. The surrounding prairie landscape is dominated by native flowers and yucca plants. The area is the perfect place to spend some time viewing and photographing wildlife and all aspects of nature, bird watching, picnicking, and hiking. There are also interpretive signs at the overlook explaining the history and significance of the Loess Hills.
