Lake Elmo State ParkLake Elmo State Park sits right on the shores of its namesake, Lake Elmo, near Billings, Montana. This day use park offers 183 acres of outdoors recreation set before a wonderful scenic panorama. The interpretive center is located at the on site Fish, Wildlife, & Parks headquarters and provides weekday interpretation of the park. Many recreational activities are provided for here including boating (non-motorized), fishing, swimming, hiking, bicycling, volleyball, and picnicking. The lake conveniently features a boat ramp for easy access. Roger’s Pier is located on the south shore of Lake Elmo near the interpretive center, and provides a great platform from which to cast your line. If you want to bring your dog, there is a designated exercise area for four legged visitors. Picnic tables and grills are provided throughout Lake Elmo State Park, and there is even a larger group use sheltered picnic area.
