Salmon Lake State Park

Salmon Lake State Park is comfortably nestled on a natural lake that boasts 720 surface acres and a maximum depth of 61 feet. The park is just five miles south of Seeley Lake in Montana. Hiking through the stunning beauty of this scenic place provides for a wonderful outdoors experience. Salmon Lake is open to boating and personal watercraft. Boating is provided for with a large ramp and 60 feet of courtesy dock available on the shoreline. Bring out a canoe to relax and enjoy the tranquility of your surroundings. Water sports enthusiasts and thrill seekers will not hesitate to try their hand at water skiing on these perfect waters. Salmon Lake and Clearwater River both provide a plethora of species for fishing including trout, kokanee salmon, and northern pike. The campground provides 20 sites for tent or RV camping, each including a picnic table and fire grate. One site is fully handicap accessible. Salmon Lake State Park is a truly special outdoors retreat.
