Fields Spring State Park

In a remote area of the Blue Mountains of Southeastern Washington, winter sport lovers come from all over to enjoy the 792 forested acres of Field Spring State Park. Thirty miles south of Clarkston, the park features a peak elevation of 4,500 feet at Puffer Butte where you can enjoy stunning views of three states and the Grande Ronde River. Wildflowers bloom in the spring and summer, drawing visitors with their unique diversity and beauty. Field Spring State Park offers two teepees and twenty sites that are suitable for tent or RV camping. There is also a kitchen shelter with electricity and a wood stove near the campgrounds. At night, keep warm with others around one of the fire circles before you tuck yourself in. Seven miles of biking trails and three miles of hiking trails tour through the rich wildlife of the park. Birds of prey and more are found here for bird watching devotees. A softball field and two volleyball courts make this an ideal and well-rounded vacation spot for the whole family.
