Reed Island State ParkReed Island State Park, featuring 510 acres of marine park, is accessible only by boat. The island is located about three miles east of Port of Camas-Washougal and 15 miles east of Vancouver, WA. This island park offers a truly primitive vacation experience; be sure to come prepared with drinking water and all other necessities. There are no docks on the island, but visitors can land their boats on the beach near the campground. There are two picnic sites available for a relaxing meal away from the “civilized” world. The southwest corner of Reed Island State Park offers a heron rookery for bird watching aficionados and casual observers.
