Gleason-Hubel Wildlife AreaThe 165 acres of the Gleason-Hubel Wildlife Area is located within the Loess Hills State Forest near the Little Sioux River in Iowa. The area is predominantly comprised of woodlands, and there are some ridge top native prairie stands as well. There are a number of trails for hiking within the wildlife area and visitors can also enjoy bird watching or viewing and photographing the surrounding flora, fauna and wildlife. This is also an excellent area for hunting deer, turkey, quail, rabbits and squirrel. |
