Indian Creek Recreation Area

Indian Creek Recreation Area features a bounty of outdoor attractions in Mobridge, SD. The park’s 307 acres spans across the gorgeous rolling hills adjacent to the Missouri River. Lewis and Clark explored its rugged land in 1804 during their Corps of Discovery Expedition. Once used by cowboys to raise cattle before their shipment south, Indian Creek Recreation Area now provides a beautiful vacation spot rich with historical significance. Three trails reach over 2.5 miles for hiking and biking. A variety of species are available for wildlife observation and bird watching- look out for the beautiful gyrfalcons as they circle the skies! The Bridge City Marina and Resort provides a floating fuel dock, slip rental, and more for boating and fishing on the waters. With 124 camp sites equipped with electrical hook-ups, you will be sure to find a perfect place to set down for the night. The whole family can enjoy their time here; bring the kids to the playground or pull out the beach towels and go swimming!
