Honey Creek Conservation Area

Located in Andrew County, Missouri is the Honey Creek Conservation Area. This area sits just two miles from where the Lewis and Clark Expedition passed in 1804. The area is mostly forest land, but also features grasslands, croplands, and fields. The conservation area is managed for wildlife species and there is intensive habitat development, but also plenty of recreational activities available. Enjoy ample opportunities for fishing or camping along the Nodaway River. Other activities include canoeing, wildlife and bird watching, hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Hunting for deer, rabbit, squirrel and turkey are also allowed.
